New 102,500 SF Elementary School including a play area and athletic fields. Also an addition to the High School of a multipurpose room and music suites, remodel administration area, science rooms, locker rooms and FACS room.
"(R.A. Morton's) fiscal management of the project was exceptional. They handled the entire bid process and their diligence resulted in the project coming in well under the projected bid. Because of the favorable bids, the district was able to greatly expand the scope of remodeling it did at the high school. Along with facilitating the bid process, Paul managed the financial aspects of the project. Because of his diligence, all contractors were held to their bid prices. It is not uncommon for contractors to make their "profits" on change orders. Because of the expertise of R.A. Morton, change orders were held to a bare minimum and most of the change orders were a result of school district requests for changes. They did not result from poor design or poor management of the project. The school board has been very enthusiastic about the additional work they were able to complete which was a direct benefit of the work that R.A. Morton did."
